About Lily

Adebusayomi Lily Albert-Sopein (she/her/hers) is a tech-savvy and resourceful People Operations professional with over 13 years' progressive experience in managing employees in a fast-paced environment and a track record of producing high-quality work on time-sensitive projects.

 

Lily is a three-time Distinction holder from different institutions - Osun State Polytechnic (Distinction Honors, Diploma in Computer Science), The Federal Polytechnic Offa (Distinction Honors, Higher National Diploma in Computer Science), Ahmadu Bello University (Distinction Honors, Post Graduate Diploma); and she is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at the University of East London.

She is also a Global Member of the Society for Human Resources Management with the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional credential. She is certified in PRINCE2Ⓡ and Agile Project Management by AXELOS; and as Senior Professional in Human Resources International™ - SPHRI™ by HR Certification Institute. Lily is focused on developing efficient strategies and processes using knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits, and auditing.

 

She is highly proficient at organizing team-building initiatives to cement goals and drive competitive growth; as well as coordinating projects that improve efficiency while meeting deadlines and budget requirements. She has worn a number of hats in her career - human resources, project management, customer support, account management, office administration, quality assurance, research, strategy, communications, social media management, etc. As a result, she has a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges.

 

With experience spanning across local and multi-national for-profit, non-profit and social impact organizations, Lily is committed to having structures in place to suitably attract and retain top talents, as well as ensuring sustainable growth for the organization through effective management of people, strategies, processes and operations and elimination of disparity among human resources. She is also known for her ability to help identify and implement key technology and process improvements.

A large part of her success while working with people stems from her ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of their needs, and spearhead the project from there.
